With over 15 years of dedicated experience in the mental health field, Mike brings a comprehensive understanding of clinical operations, organizational management, and business optimization to healthcare and mental health providers. His career has spanned several levels of care — from hands-on residential direct care to executive leadership in outpatient behavioral health — giving him a unique perspective on both client needs and operational excellence.
Mike has extensive experience in quality management, risk and safety oversight, credentialing, medical records management, and compliance auditing. As a former Director of Quality Management in outpatient services, he successfully led initiatives that improved efficiency, strengthened compliance, and enhanced overall service quality across multiple departments.
His expertise extends deeply into billing and claims management, where he developed a passion for optimizing financial performance within behavioral health organizations. Having worked across several Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, Mike was a key contributor in implementing a new EHR platform for a company of over 200 employees—streamlining documentation processes, improving data integrity, and ensuring smooth integration across teams.
Now, through his consulting firm, Mike focuses on helping healthcare and mental health providers strengthen their business infrastructure, maintain regulatory compliance, and maximize financial health. A major component of his services includes Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) — providing end-to-end support in billing, claims, collections, and financial reporting to help organizations operate efficiently and sustainably.
Mike’s mission is simple: to empower providers with the systems, strategies, and insights they need to deliver exceptional care while achieving long-term organizational success.

I utilize a combination of techniques and interventions based on Reality Therapy, Choice Theory, EMDR, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, all which are evidenced based treatments. I tailor treatment to meet client’s needs and overall goals in hopes of improving the client’s quality of life. Erica Is Licensed in Arizona and New Hampshire.
The Therapeutic Relationship
My focus is to help individuals to find their best part of themselves, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. My hope is to achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
I believe counseling is most beneficial for individuals who are open to self-processing, self-exploration, and taking steps to make changes. As a counselor, I believe I can be a guide for my clients in this process and can provide tools my clients can learn to use to help them along with this. I know though that I cannot do the work for my clients and that ultimately doing the work will be up to them.
So what exactly do I expect from my clients? At the least, I expect that they commit to actually attending their counseling sessions. Having sessions scheduled does not do much good for people who never go.
Beyond that though, how much a person gets out of counseling depends on how much they put in.
